The LOAF is 10 years old today! And so, to celebrate the anniversary, we’ll be doing a couple of fun LOAF-related releases over the next month, beginning with a limited batch of “Matt Hoopes LOAF” pedals! This LOAF includes custom graphics featuring Matt's handwriting. It also sounds a bit different from our standard production LOAF (slightly more low-end in the gain) as Matt got his LOAF in the early days prior to the current revision, and so, this version is built to the original's spec. Matt has used his LOAF off-and-on for many years now, so when we approached him about doing a signature LOAF, he was very excited about it, and he told us that he had always wanted to be involved in the production of a guitar pedal! He said it looked neat! And he was right. It is neat! The process even left him feeling like he could maybe start a guitar pedal company of his own someday—so keep an eye out for that in the future. That would be neat, too!

While most fuzz pedals are accused of stealing your low end, the LOAF will actually do the opposite and roll off some of the harsh, brittle, and “buzzy” high-end that is associated with those other pedals.
The simple three-knob layout allows you to easily dial-in the perfect setting on every guitar.
The interactive volume and tone controls make every setting as musical as the next.
The pedal reacts to your playing-dynamics much like a classic tube amp, and of course, it cleans up beautifully as well.
As of November 2018, The LOAF will no longer contain a battery snap and will require a standard 9v (100ma) power supply with a 2.1mm barrel connector (negative center).
*This pedal DOES NOT come with a power adapter. We recommend using an isolated DC power supply.
